Why do YOU think they put in the sisterhood of the travelign pants movie that lena's family hated kostos's family instead of the way it really happened in the book where both families liked each other?

The more opinions you have about the chnage they made the better :D

Thank you!

  1. I haven't seen the movie yet but more than likely it was because they figured it would create more drama.  That's the biggest issue I have with books that go to movies, it's when they change things.

Just curious, does her Grandmother and Bapi start to dislike Kostos before or after the swimming incident?  The reason I ask is because there was a huge fight between the 2 families because of a misunderstanding and that could be the reason it was portrayed that way.

Most times I'm more likely to sit down and watch a movie and if I like I go read the book but after watching several different movies that completely butchered what really haven't I've switched tactics.

I'll be honest though, even though I haven't seen the movie yet, after reading the book I definitely want to.  I just hope it's not like Ella Enchanted where the only thing the book and movie have in common is the same name.  (It's also the movie that pushed me to read the book first because the book is sooooo much better)

  2. Umm. Actually in the book the grandpa did kinda dislike Kostas's grandpa. I least that was what I remember from the book. In the movie they did exaggerate it a little though.

  3. idk maybe

  4. it was better lik that who knows
