The other answers are correct, except I don’t think that 'office' refers to the workplace at all, I think it is more correct to read it as 'office and affairs' rather than 'office' and 'affairs of love'. The 'office' in question is that of Love. Therefore, the quote is simply saying that you can remain friends through anything except when it comes to love.
