After almost six seasons in La Liga, Seville FC defender, Julien Escude has issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to Ligue 1 giants Olympique de Marseille and LOSC Lille who are both looking for defensive reinforcements
32-year-old France international, Julien Escude has been at Spanish La Liga side Seville FC since 2006. During his time at Seville, the defender has won the UEFA Cup twice and has also won the Copa del Rey as well.
However, with age catching up to him, the Frenchman knows that his time with Los Nervioneses is almost up and the player is now looking to return to the country of his berth. The former Cannes man left France in 2003 when he joined Ajax Amsterdam from Stade
Rennais.
Now, Escude is looking to end his career in France and has issued a come and get me plea to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 and LOSC Lille. Both sides are in great need of a good and experienced defender and have been keeping tabs on Escude for a long time.
Reports claim that Lille wanted to sign the player in the winter transfer window but Escude chose to finish the season with Seville before anything.
Now, the player has expressed his desire to return to France. While talking to El Desmarque, the Frenchman spoke about the recent interest in his services coming from Rhone and Villeneuve D’Ascq.
“I have known a club in France. It is an honour that clubs like Marseille and Lille think of me,” said Escude before admitting that he will honour his contract with the club if Seville chose to retain his services.
After six and a half years of loyal services, the Andalucian club might start having talks with Escude regarding his future.
Furthermore, the Seville owners won’t be a hurdle in the defender’s way if he wants to return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899. With just over a year left on his contract, Escude might come cheap although it remains to be seen where he will be playing next season.
Lille might lose the services of the likes of Aurelien Chedjou and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Debuchy-c24682 so Rudi Garcia would welcome the calming influence of Escude.
