http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 1-0 Inter Milan – Sunday, 26th February, 2012.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 continued his impressive goal-scoring run in the match against the Nerazzurri. Inter Milan travelled to Naples to play their match at Stadio San Paolo, with hopes of change in fortunes in
this miserable season.
However, the Partenopei side had ideas of their own, as they sought another qualification in the UEFA Champions League. The result puts La Beneamata in the seventh position, only three points ahead of Chievo,
who are the tenth in the Serie A standings.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 came into this match on the back of a terrible run of form, losing six times in their last seven matches in all competitions. There were talks about the “wounded tigers’ reacting to this match in an
emphatic manner; however, the Azzurri piled more misery among the Nerazzurri ranks.
The opening encounters in the match were uninspiring, with neither side managing to create significant effect to the proceedings. In the 24th minute, Blerim Dzemaili drove a wicked shot on target,
but only for Julio Cesar to deny the Brazilian his moment of glory. Dzemaili was keeping the Nerazzurri defence extremely busy with his proactive football. However, nothing materialised in the first-half, with only a few notable chances.
Second-half was more enterprising with Lavezzi making sure that his team found fruit for their hard-work. The Argentine’s low drive from the edge of the box gave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Julio-Cesar-c19961 no chance of stopping the host’s
from taking the lead.
Walter Mazzarri’s men cruised to an easy win to move to the 5th spot in the table.
Bologna 1-3 Udinese – Sunday, 26th February 2012
Udinese halted Bologna’s great run of form by overcoming their indifferent streak of wins in the Serie A. The Udine based club maintained their third position with the victory.
Any other result would have seen them slip to the fourth position, considering http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 won their respective weekend game. The difference between AC Milan and Udinese has now reduced to just six points. This
run of form would greatly benefit the morale of the Bianconeri squad.
Season’s top goal-scorer, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Di-Natale-c6306, was a surprise inclusion in the match against Bologna, and much to the relief of Francesco Guidolin, his talisman scored in the 38th minute of the match.
The striker converted a penalty kick.
Guidolin’s men went another goal up in the second half, with Dusan Basta converting his chance clinically.  However, Bologna showed that they were no pushovers as they strove hard, and put pressure on the
Udinese defence. Marco Di Vaio’s header was guided into the back of the net by Panagiotis Kone in the 81st minute.
Udinese substitute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Floro-Flores-c6312, completed an emphatic win for his side with a thunderous effort in the dying minutes of the game. Bologna drop to 16th place in the league as a result
of the defeat.
