Sebastian Rduch crushes Miroslav Haring in qualifying round of Austrian International Challenge 2011
German badminton player, Sebastian Rduch, has crushed Miroslav Haring of Slovak Republic, in the first qualifying round match of the Austrian International Challenge 2011 at Vienna, Austria.
It was a completely one-sided fight that took just 18 minutes on the court and ended in favour of the aggressive German shuttler, Rduch. He is now one-step closer to enter into the main round of Men’s Singles category in this event.
Right from the start of the match, the German took the lead and maintained it throughout the opening set of the battle. Miroslav remained completely unable to match the pace and tempo of the game as his opponent, who was playing an impressive game. He had
no answer to the technical and tactical skills of Rduch, who was just incredible in every department of the game.
The opening set finished with a big margin of 21-19 score, showing that the German belongs to a different class of the game.
In the second set, the Slovak shuttler tried his best to stop the impressive run of the German shuttler by matching the speed of the opponent. However, he could not manage to control the rallies and again it was Sebastian Rduch who took the lead. The German
shuttler remained never spared any opportunity for his challenger to fight back in the match. The second set proved to be the final game of the opening match of the qualifying round, as the German man won it by a remarkable difference of 21-10.
The match was the highlight of Rduch’s terrific performance, as he outclassed his opponent in every aspect of the game. He was remarkable in his stroke election and incorporated hard to return down-the-line smashes, combined with tumbling net shots.
Haring said that Rduch played extremely well and he was unable to handle the pace of the game. On the other hand, the German player is determined to stretch his impressive run to get into the main round of the draw. The main round of the Austrian International
Challenge 2011 will start from tomorrow.
