Scottrade things?

hello all;

I just opened an account on Scottrade. I just want to ask some technical terminology.

What is Sell Short, Buy to Cover? Which is the best?

What is Market, Limit, Stop, Stop Limit, and trailing stop? I read their explaination but still don't understand.

Scottrade has good video, referance info in the knowledge center online. I stopped by my branch and ask question all the time at first, very nice. They have classes, have not tried any.

When opening an account, mark referred by a friend and use the "referALL" code ETLC4930 to get 3 free trades (maximum promotion) a 21.00 value.
