He does things to get your attention a lot.

He compliments you a lot, because he notices the  things

you do.

He finds ways to sit beside you in class or in meeting, whatever it takes to be close to you.

He also would want to make you laugh and does things to see your smile, which would give him a reason to touch you more.

He treats you like a lady. If it just an ordinary friend he would probably pat her on the back or give a handshake, something normal and ordinary.
