Rome / rome ciampino????

Question

it is 2 different places? (if they are 2 different places, are they near to each other? how long it takes to travel from the 2 places?)

Ciampino is the name of a village near Rome where is situated the airport. The other Rome airport is Fiumicino wich is also the name of another village.

Ciampino is closer to Rome but little more  dificult to get to the city (you need to take a bus: Terravision), Fiumicino as a fast train that get you to the main train station Termini.

Rome is the city, ciampino is one of the two airport of the city (the other one is fiumicino) that is in a little town next to Rome...

I don't know how long it takes to go from one places to the other because it depends on where you have to go (Rome is a big city...) and which means on transport you use. anyway, here you are more information to go from the airport to the city.
