Roman Abramovich set to bring Neymar to Chelsea as Ramires and shine at Stamford Bridge
Recent reports reveal that English Premier League giants Chelsea are willing to spend £23 million to bring in Brazilian striker Neymar to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Blues have been chasing the 19-year-old striker since last year, with Neymar rejecting a move to the Premier League side.
Since then he seems to have changed his mind, admitting he would like to play for an English Premier League side.
He went on to say that he had visited London and had found it very beautiful; he claimed he would not mind moving there on a more permanent basis.
Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti failed to lure the youngster to the London side, which is why owner Roman Abramovich has taken the task upon himself.
A source close to the club revealed:
“Roman is ready to get personally involved to clinch the signing of and he is aiming to talk to him next month to prove how much he is wanted.”
The Russian billionaire is set to spend the summer trying to convince the Brazilian wonder-kid to make a move to Chelsea.
With most of the Blues’ strike force above 30 years, they could definitely use some younger player, which is where Neymar comes in.
Despite being so young, Neymar has a highly impressive goal tally for both club and country, which has increased his demand with the top European sides.
The 19-year-old forward has scored 3 goals in 3 appearances for and has found the back of the net 65 times in 132 appearances.
Apart from Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and are also keeping an eye on the extremely talented striker.
