what area do you want to live in ? Outside the city you can still get a place for a reasonable price.Just make sure you qualify for a visa .panama has tightened its imigration rules ,i know some people that owns house`s and apartments ,but can`t get a resident,investors or retirement visa .so they can only stay 90 days.I`m one of them .

Also look on Craig's List.

Three years ago the market zoomed upward, so your search will

be more difficult now, but 100K is still possible.

You may have a one hour commute to the city, but it is possible.
