Question about opening a new bank account.

Question

Hi, my old bank is moving so i changed banks to Chase Bank. I opened a new account and the person working there asked how much my household income was. I told him an amount but he said i should put it higher and so he recommended an added higher amount. I just want to know will this affect me badly somehow? Will the IRS ask me questions and such or hopefully is this nothing big.
