Question:

Quarter Horse pedigree "hole"?

I have a palomino Quarter horse gelding bred for cutting/reining. And on his dams side, there is a horse named Rocky Digger Bar (his sire is De May Bar) and his dams side is missing. I know it's a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knew information about Rocky Digger Bar or knew anything about his pedigree? This one last hole is just really bugging me.

Here's the link to my gelding:

Look on his dam's side.

Thanks everbody!

  1. Well she may be unknown.  Back then records were not as tight.  You may not be able to find it out.

  2. I have updated your horse's pedigree from AQHA's records.  Hope this helps!

  3. Have you tried to pull the mares name up on AQHA? I would look it up for you but I do not have my pin number with me. But AQHA should have this mares full pedigree.

  4. His (Rocky Digger Bar) pedigree is on http://www.allbreedpedigree.com.  As far as I can tell, the only place there's a 'hole' is two horses in the sixth generation.
