I have a 65,000-100,000 btu reddy heater. To start the heater, you plug it in, hold down the adjustible igniter button until unit lights, then hold for about 30 seconds and unit should continue to run. I ran this unit yesterday and had to hold the button for about 5-6 minutes before it would run on its own. Other days, it would light within the 30 seconds and run sometimes for 5-10 minutes, shut of. It would restart immediately if you repeated the above procedure. What is wrong?? I understand this information is free. Thank you.
