Primo Apollo in the spotlight of the Bags Track Championship – Dogs
The £200 prize money of the inter track Bags Track Championship – Dogs has attracted, Oakfront Ironman, Izzy Handsome, Grogeen Lodge, Tommy Gun, Primo Apollo and Hoots Mon. The race will be staged at Poole over 450 metres flat on Saturday, 1st December. The most interesting entry that catches the eye instantly is the fifth trap, Primo Apollo. Racing in the black and white of the sixth trap will be, Hoots Mon, while the lucky draw of the first trap went to, Oakfront Ironman.
The three-year-old black dog has tossed on to the profile pretty impressive scores. All the outings to date after 3rd October at Swindon have been in the frame of the second position, never going lower than that.
The third trap won the Grade A2 480 metres flat race on 3rd October, 2012 at Swindon over 480 metres. He led on from the first position, but got crowded when racing from the second slot, despite that he kept up with the highly determined stance and won in 29.26 seconds.
The favourite entry of the race, Active Lark, was left behind by just half-length.
Boherduff Light’s son then captured the winner’s prize money of the Grade A2 480 metres flat on 29th October, 2012 at Swindon over 480 metres.
Primo Apollo was entered as the favourite and broke from the third trap. Racing in the middle and then aiming for the wire from the third position had him nailing the race in 29.26 seconds.
Off The Radar missed the winner’s crown due to 1 ¾ lengths gap.
The C Stringer trained struck a back-to-back by landing the Grade A2 480 metres flat on 2nd November, 2012 at Swindon. Picking up the lead soon enough took him 28.87 seconds to race through.
Primo Apollo’s most significant success in reference to tonight’s race is the dominance in the Bags Track Championship – Dogs on 16th November, 2012 at Oxford.
Taking flight from the fourth trap, the three-year-old soon fell into pace and had the race going for him in 27.11 seconds. Compromising with success due to the gap of 5 ½ lengths was, What A Disciple.
