Please Read (Tampon questions) PLEASE READ!?

Question

I have a few questions, and sorry for asking all of them.

1.Is tampax pearl a good product?

2.Should I start using one, because on my period( I have heavier ones) It feels like there is as lot of blood down there, and i feel like im getting plugged up because of the pads, but im kinda afraid.

3.if i decide to wear one how do i tell my mom, i mean i cant say, "hey mom can i start using tampons, because i was reading stuff like that online. I mean shell say you should be looking stuff like that online, but im afraid to talk to her about that kinda stuf, because im younger and im kinda still new to the whole period thing, and i dont have an older sis to talk to. :(

4.im only eleven, but from what ive read but i think its kinda scary, but at school i have p.e. everyday, i have track, and i love to swim, and i feel like im plugged up, but um if i use one it will soak it up before i feel like that, but i dont want to talk to my mom, because i get nervous when i have to say, "mom can we talk?"

 Tampax pearl is an excellent product. I totally understand the discomfort pads can give you, especially when you're outside a lot. If you want to try tampons, my advice would be to start with the smaller, lighter ones. Especially at your age, regular should be fine.

Also, you should definitely talk to your mom about it. I was uncomfortable asking my mom questions when my period first started, but she (as well as every other woman) has been through the same thing, so they totally understand.

Tampons can be very scary when you don't know how to use them. I didn't start using them until I was 15 because I was so afraid of the stories I had read. Honestly, they may be uncomfortable at first, but they're perfectly safe as long as you take them out or replace them within 8 hours.
