Pelican G3 Wireless Gamecube controller Freeze-up??

HELP! I just purchased the Pelican G3 a few weeks ago. I've been using it very little...Suddenly,my gamecube(ports on the WII console)

games no longer respond.There seems to be no "communication" between the controller and the receiver.Can ANYBODY advise me...Do I "reset" controller/receiver somehow? I've tried everything I can think of!!
