Our KitchenAid Superba KEBC107, built in convection oven does not heat. The blower comes on, the oven light works, the display panel displays properly. When we turn on the oven, key in the temperature, and press ''start'' the fan kicks on, the control panel indicates that the oven is heating, but it does not heat. It will not heat in any mode--convection bake, regular bake, or convection roast.
We have checked and made sure that the control lock is not on, the timer is not on, and that the sabbath mode is disabled. We have checked to make sure the breaker switch was not tripped. Also have checked to make sure the heating element somehow did not become unplugged or dislodged.
Yesterday my wife put the oven in the self-clean mode and cleaned it. And two days ago we cooked a roast in it with no problems. We have not had a power outage or electrical storm.
