One-Day International World Cup enough?

Shane Warne has come out saying the 50-over format should be confined to a World Cup tournament once every four years. Is this the future for One-Day International cricket?

It’s certainly at a cross-roads. Can’t see a once in four years concept working either though. Maybe it’s time to look at reducing the ODI series to three matches, rather than five or seven as have recently been held. And if crowds aren’t moving through the turnstiles, cutting ticket prices is another option.
