Night Alliance tipped for victory in the Countryside Alliance Handicap Chase

Night Alliance is tipped to take victory in the Countryside Alliance Handicap Chase at Fakenham in England on Friday, February 17, 2012. The event has attracted 10 runners and has a cash prize of £7,148.
The seven-year-old horse, trained by Dr Richard Newland, has been given a starting price of 5 to 1 for the race today. He has only taken part in three chase races so far, but has shown very good skills in them.
Although Night Alliance has struggled in a couple of races, he has still managed to finish on top once and has a very good chance of taking another victory. He will be partnered by veteran jockey, Charlie Huxley, who has been victorious
in 28 chase races in his career.
Huxley will be hopeful of a strong show at Fakenham, as he has the experience to challenge the best in the business.
However, things will not be easy for Huxley and his horse, as Carlicue will also be chasing his maiden chase victory. He has never entered such events in his career so far, but will give a tough time to the rest of the pack.
The seven-year-old horse has won a hurdle once and ended up runner up for the same number of times, which indicates that he has the potential of winning today. He will be partnered by Ryan Mahon, jockey who has immense potential to become one of the best.
Another horse, who has the potential to make a solid impression at Fakenham, is Gorge. He has a very good record, when it comes to chase races. He entered four of them, winning on a couple of occasions and finishing third once. There has been only one occasion,
where he failed to make it into the top three. He will be partnered by J. Hamer in today’s race.
Further down the order, there are not any big names in today’s chase at Fakenham. It will be interesting to see whether which horse ends up on top in the end, as most of them are relatively inexperienced.
Considering the recent performances of all runners, Night Alliance has the best chance, but he will have to battle it out with Gorge, who has an impressive record in chase races.
