The Croatian midfielder declares that he will play his way back into Harry Redknapp’s first team squad despite suffering from a lack of fitness in the English Premier League...
Kranjcar has come out and stated that he is ready to make his place at Tottenham Hotspur despite having a horribly disappointing injury affected season thus far for the North London club. Kranjcar who caught eye in the English
Premier League when he was at Portsmouth was bought by Tottenham last season as Redknapp attempted to strengthen his squad to push for the UEFA Champions League qualification places. Tottenham failed to qualify for the Champions League in the end but Spurs
have done well in the 2011-2012 Premier League season up till now.
Redknapp’s team now find themselves just three points behind Manchester United in the Premier League title race and six points behind Manchester City with a game in hand. If they win their next league encounter, then Tottenham
will go level on points with Manchester United, which will be a big feat for them as other teams such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have failed to keep pace with the top three teams of the Premier League.
However in this rise to the top, Tottenham have failed to benefit from Kranjcar’s talents as the Croatian playmaker has had a torrid time with injuries. Kranjcar will also hope that he can stay fit for the remainder of the season
as he will want to participate in the upcoming European Championships with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Croatia-c2879, something that might be possible if he maintains a first team place at Tottenham.
The former Portsmouth man said in his recent interview, “I know the next couple of months I want to stay here get in shape and hopefully have a good year and after Euro 2012 I'll see, the club have been great to me since I came
here. I've had a bad season injury wise. I just want to get back fit and get a month or two of training and staying sharp and getting more minutes on the pitch.”
Harry Redknapp will hope that his midfielder can retain his current run of fitness as Tottenham will also need Kranjcar’s playmaking skills in case http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 or Van der Vaart succumb to injury in the upcoming tough fixture schedule
in the month of February.
