Niagara Falls Trip?

Question

I'm trying to plan a trip to Niagara Falls this summer for my boyfriend and I, but I'm not sure where would be the best places to visit. I only plan on staying for two days and one night, but I would love to fit in as much as possible. Any suggestions about where to visit?

It sounds like a romantic dinner at either one of the restaurants in the Skylon Tower is in order.  Also, the Table Rock complex, which is finishing up a renovation and expansion, has always been a choice for couples.  Table Rock is also where you enter the Journey Behind the Falls attraction.  The name is pretty much self explanatory of what they offer.

I'd suggest the Maid of the Mist - it's a boat that goes down to the base of the falls on the Canadian side... you get all wet from the mist and wind... there's usually a big line-up, but it's good fun.  Also, you get great a great view if you walk across the Rainbow bridge (connects US/Canadian sides).  If you're into hiking, there are some really nice hikes down to the bottom of the gorge a mile or so below the falls (also from the Canadian side).  On the US side, the Three Sisters Islands are kind of cool to poke around on.  Oh - and be sure to check out the falls all lit up in different colours at night!
