  1. Here by me - three doors down.

listen to it... you'll love it!

    i do!!  <3

I hope you’re doing fine out there without me

‘Cause I’m not doing so good without you

The things I thought you’d never know about me

Were the things I guess you always understood

So how could I have been so blind for all these years?

Guess I only see the truth through all this fear,

    And living without you…

And everything I had in this world

And all that I’ll ever be

It could all fall down around me.

Just as long as I have you,

    Right here by me.

I can’t take another day without you

‘Cause baby, I could never make it on my own

I’ve been waiting so long, just to hold you

And be back in your arms where I belong

Sorry I can’t always find the words to say

But everything I’ve ever know gets swept away

    Inside of your love…

And everything I had in this world

And all that I’ll ever be

It could all fall down around me.

Just as long as I have you,

    Right here by me.

As the days grow long I see

That time is standing still for me

    When you’re not here

Sorry I can’t always find the words to say

Everything I’ve ever known gets swept away

    Inside of your love

And everything I had in this world

And all that I’ll ever be

It could all fall down around me.

Just as long as I have you,

    Right here by me

  2. Best song is Richard Marx-Right Here Waiting For You...

    "Oceans apart day after day

    And I slowly go insane

I hear your voice on the line

But it doesn't stop the pain

If I see you next to never

    How can we say forever

    Wherever you go

    Whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you

    Whatever it takes

    Or how my heart breaks

I will be right here waiting for you

I took for granted, all the times

That I though would last somehow

I hear the laughter, I taste the tears

But I can't get near you now

Oh, can't you see it baby

    You've got me goin' CrAzY

    Wherever you go

    Whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you

    Whatever it takes

    Or how my heart breaks

I will be right here waiting for you

I wonder how we can survive

    This romance

But in the end if I'm with you

    I'll take the chance

Oh, can't you see it baby

    You've got me goin' cRaZy

    Wherever you go

    Whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you

    Whatever it takes

    Or how my heart breaks

I will be right here waiting for you."

  3. Just make it heavy with Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith.

I remember there was a song about a "traveling soldier" sung by a female.

"Letters from Home" is probably the best of the lot.

  4. Well when my husband and his friends deployed, my friends (there spouses) and I listened to these songs a lot, they reminded us of them. Plus they played them during the welcome home ceremony.

Here without you: 3 doors down

    Hero: Mariah Carey

Courtesy of the red, white, and blue: Toby Keith

    American Soldier: Toby Keith

Wake me up when September ends: Greenday

You raise me up: Josh Groban

*If I remember some more I'll add on*

What hurts the most: Rascal Flatts

Running away: Midnight run (song they played on Army wives when the guys deployed)

Ocean size love: Leigh Nash (song from Army wives)

    So far away: Staind

  5. 'If you're not the one' - Daniel Beddingfield

'All I need to get by' - Marvin Gaye

'I'd wait for life' - Take That
