He wants to travel to france from spain, does he need a visa. He was 11 years old when he moved to spain.

Did he become a citizen of Spain?  I don't believe  citizens of European Union  countries  need a visa or passport to travel to other E.U. countries.  If he is still a Citizen of Ecuador, he will need his passport from Ecuador and  he will need a visa to enter France.  See 1st site below to verify his need for a visa.  If he no longer has a valid passport from Ecuador, he will need to apply for one at the nearest embassy or consulate of Ecuador.  Here is the  contact info for the embassy of Ecuador in Spain....Principe de Vergara No 73, 7th Floor, 28006 Madrid.     They do not have a website. The 2nd site has a list of the consulates of France in Spain...so he can choose the nearest one to go to to apply for a visa.
