Moving, need help but not moving company?

I am moving and already have a u-haul but we may need one or two more guys to help with getting furniture up the stairs at our new apartment. Do you know of any companies that allow you to hire out legitimate workers for an hour or two without renting a truck?

Have a look in the yellow pages under temp. laborers in Hayward. They come with insurance and everything, they will charge a little more than the guys waiting in the Home Depot parking lot but they are as you say "legitimate".

Call the Mormons (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in Hayward.  Mormons love helping people and they will do it free of charge or obligation.
