  1.  Hello. For your Basil plant, keep pinching off the flowers to keep the plant going as long as possible. Basil is frost sensitive and will turn black and die if it gets too cold. With your cilantro, a large stem will grow up the middle. Keep this cut back so you can use the cilantro leaves. Eventually, the leaves will thin out and the stem will grow back in the middle. The seeds from this stem are coriander. 


    Leave your rosemary alone and just let it flower as this will help to draw bees for pollination. With parsley, cut back and flowering stems to keep the plant going.
