The former Blues midfielder is of the opinion that Chelsea are looking to aim at Domestic dominance after lifting both the European Cups in succession.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at Stamford Bridge based club after Rafa Benitez’s interim managerial contract comes to an end at the end of this season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 have always had a history of questionable managerial appointments and this too is marred by the zero tolerance in terms of on-the-pitch results. Almost everyone can recall a handful of Chelsea managers which have served and ultimately got sacked
over the course of the past few years.
The era began with Jose Mourinho after he had guided Porto to a continental treble in 2004, famously winning every trophy that came its way in the calendar year and most notably lifting the UEFA Champions League by beating French side AS Monaco.
The former Germany international believes that the time is right for the club to appoint the newly departed manager from Real Madrid and Chelsea now have to aim at the domestic and league side of the picture for a few years to come.
“Mourinho did fantastic for Chelsea - the fans love him and you can see why he wants to go back to where he was loved to try and be successful,” Ballack remarked at the adidaslab in London. “After winning two European trophies now, maybe Chelsea should be
focused on the Premier League.”
Jose Mourinho’s imminent appointment coupled by the retirement of Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has certainly made this year’s league interesting even from this point, and a managerial change at the Eastland marks that all the top three of the league have suffered from
the change of managers at the start of the season.
He said, “Manchester United have lost a big manager so it will be interesting to see how they do. Next season will be a big fight between Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.”
Only time will tell which team makes the most out of this change and recoups under the banners of support of their fans.
