The only way Medicaid state health coverage will come after her is if she lied on the forms regarding income and property ownership on the Medicaid documents. This is fraud...The reason people are approved for Medicaid is due to disability and financial reasons...Usually when medicaid pays for instance a hospital bill of yours and then find out you aren't covered and/or eligible, Medicaid recoups the money from the provider...Then inturn the provider sends you a selfpay bill...hope this helps
