Mario Balotelli, the 20-year-old Italian striker, revealed he was happy at Manchester City under boss Roberto Mancini. The young forward has been involved in countless rows with previous managers at previous clubs, most notably with Jose Mourinho during his time at Inter Milan during the 2009-2010 season.
Balotelli arrived at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan on a loan move and ended up signing with the club on a more permanent basis in the summer of 2007.  He was an important part of the side that dominated the Serie A, winning the title with Inter Milan three years in a row, 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.
He was doing well at the Serie A outfit, going on to score a goal in the UEFA Champions League when he was 18 years old, making him the youngest player to do so for Inter. However, Balotelli did not get along too well with Mourinho, when the Portuguese boss took charge of the Italian club.
Under Mourinho, Balotelli barely got any first team football and was left on the bench for most of the latter part of the season. Mourinho even went as far as to say that Balotelli “came close to a zero rating”, which is why he was benched.
The young striker responded by public displays of disapproval, for instance he was seen wearing an AC Milan shirt on a TV show. Balotelli further aggravated the manager and the supporters when he threw his jersey on the ground after a Champions League match.
It was fairly obvious Balotelli could not remain at Inter Milan after the disruptive season; he transferred to Manchester City in the summer of 2010 for an estimated fee of £24 million. He has done much better since joining the English Premier League and according to the player it was because http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 understood him better than former coach Mourinho.
Balotelli said while speaking to reporters, “Maybe Mourinho said these things about me because he could not manage me. I don't know why. He couldn't understand me, but Mancini is doing what Mourinho couldn't do.”
He continued, “Mancini is different from Mourinho. They are both great managers but they are different men. Mancini supports me. Mourinho was different. Whenever I had a problem, Mourinho always went against me. When I have a problem here, Mancini always supports me.”
Balotelli had an eventful debut for Manchester City, while scoring as a substitute in the Europa League against FC Timisoara, he picked up a knee injury which kept him out for over two months. Upon returning he was given a red card in a fixture against West Brom in the English Premier League.
However, unlike Mourinho, Mancini stood by his young striker and claimed the red card was unfair. So far Balotelli has gone on to make 23 appearances for City in all competitions and has found the back of the net 10 times.
The Manchester City striker admitted he was enjoying himself at the Eastlands, he said, “I am enjoying myself now. When I first came here it was difficult because I came from another country and I am only 20. That wasn't easy, but now I feel good.”
