malls r big cause of  environmental change because it emits carbon by various things . In India they used big generators,too much use of lights, use water and electronic equipment for cleanliness ,  they also traffic jam on the road which creates pollution

co2 generation owing to rise of atomobiles

soil pollution -litter/plastics

I am not sure how many bad impacts , but one bad impact i know , that is Traffic Pollution, because  of these malls , lot of traffic jams happens , and sound pollution is a bonus gift.

no people with bad taste are not responsible for pollution..use of plastic bags and running cars when in the store do...

you can't blame the chick in leg warmers and pink spandex for pollution...her fondness for Mariposa and Tommy Hilfiger isn't the problem...
