Hi my name is Robyne, and i have recently become engaged to my boyfriend well now fiance Trevor. I plan on getting married next July at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. My reception will be held in the San Fernando courtyard but, I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should have the dinner be served inside http://www.lamountains.com/enlarged_images/RiC_wedding_setup_enlrg.jpg

please help! Each of the dining areas seem so elegant and lovely. The inside dining hall seems like a good idea because the guests wont have to deal with flies or bugs around the food but, the outside dining area seems like a good idea because the sun setting at the time of dinner would be the perfect end to a perfect wedding. I would really like this wedding to be all that I've dreamed of but, I cant seem to remember where i dreamed we would be eating...

please help :]

  1. Dining inside does look nice, but if you really want it to be outside why not have a tent and have your guests in shelter but still with the outside atmosphere.

Congratulations and all the best in the future.

  2. I would honestly stick with the inside dining. Weather, Bugs ect can be a pain, just make it easier on yourself and stick with the inside choice, I think it is beautiful!

  3. Personally, I'd say dine inside.  Your female guests will thank you.  Consider the temperature, or possibly rain.  You can always ask the people at the venue if you can serve appetizers outdoors before dinner is served so that you can have the best of both areas!  Best of Luck

  4. Personally, I think you're pretentious and I doubt that the location really matters; seeing as you'll be divorced outside of a year anyway.

  5. aww Congradulations!

I think you should have the dinner inside, that way nothing like bugs, bad weather etc. will be able to get in the way of your perfect day.

You could maybe have dessert outside after the dinnerÉ if everything goes smoothly

  6. ooo...I like the outside, with the fountain!!

Can you plan to do outside (which looks fabulous by the way), with the indoor option as a back up in case of rain? That way you aren't hosed if it pours.

    Congrats, and have a blast!!

  7. When there's food involved inside is better (no flies, bugs or birds) plus your guest can be as loud as they want and you will be able to talk to see and talk to everyone better it feels more intimate and private. The inside is beautiful and you could even change the lighting yourself to make it brighter or darker for a more romantic look. Plus with a white gown I don't like the idea of the grass and when it comes to pictures inside lighting is better to control than sunlight, you have to face in certain directions to avoid shadows etc....

  8. My preference is always inside, because you just can't count on the weather to cooperate. But make sure you have a chance to take some pictures by that beautiful fountain!
