MY 2005 MAZDA MPV CUTS OFF WHILE I AM DRIVING?

I HAD GOT THE FAN FIXED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, BUT WHILE DRIVING MY VAN CUTS OFF AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP WHILE IN ROLL I HAVE TO SWITH GEAR TO NEUTRAL AND RESTART THE VAN BUT THIS PROBLEM KEEPS HAPPENING.

  1. check condition of battery and cables


  2. Check your battery cables.chances are they are loose. also your alternator could be going out.if you do it yourself it wont cost much.also check your sparkplugs.

  3. Take it in NOW and have it diagnosed. Thats a safety issue, if you lose power in traffic that could cause a traffic accident. Please be careful and please bring it in ASAFP.

    Mazdas in general have gotten better over the years, I'll admit to liking the new MPV's when they were released, but the older mpv's were really crappy with the v6, and the auto trans and especially the 4x4 ones.
