Looking for a good weekend getaway around Wiesbaden Germany?

My husband is flying into Germany in a few days. I was wondering if anyone knows of any nice places around Wiesbaden I could show him over the weekend? We'll live here for a few years but I want him to like Germany as much as I like it.

Why not go downsteam to Boppard or Rudesheim.  They are not far.

Go to Rüdesheim ( west of Wiesbaden ) have diner or lunch at the Brauhaus Kastel in Mainz,  (http://www.brauhaus-castel.de/galerie/fo... ) Visit the cathedral in Mainz, if the weather is nice, take a walk at the Rhine river. May be a visit at the Kurhaus ( gambling,- jacket and tie are mandatory ). You also can take a river cruise for a few hours on the Rhine, on the way to St.Goar you will see several nice, old castles.
