Kenny Dalglish’s list of shortlisted players continues to grow as the Reds are linked with both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Keisuke-Honda-c20516.
Liverpool have struggled for goals this season scoring only 40 goals in the Barclays Premier League all season. Their goals scoring exploits in the domestic cup competitions have fared better if one was to talk about averages. However, their inability to convert chances has really hurt their attempt at finishing fourth.
Add in the fact that the Reds have hit the post 30 times this season and one sees that the club needs a bit of luck and a bit of extra class in front of goal.
It is no surprise then that the Anfield outfit have been linked with a number of attacking players and it seems that the club will be turning to a number of targets they previously missed out on.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rasmus-Elm-c30628 was on Liverpool’s watch list not too long ago before Fenway Sports Group took charge and brought in their own transfer philosophy that focused on adding a core of British players to the side. With that now taken care of the Reds can bring in a bit of foreign talent to supplement the home-grown players.
Elm meets http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 international is a player that the club could benefit from in the long run. He has scored a total of 12 goals in the current season and has been scouted by Liverpool on a numbe0 of occasions.
His club however, are expected to slap a price tag of around £7-million, which should not be a problem for the Reds.
Another player who has been a long-term target for the Anfield club is CSKA Moscow’s whiz of a playmaker, Keisuke Honda, who been in fine form during the current season.
The talented midfielder is drawing interest from a number of clubs including Turkish giants, Galatasaray, however, at this point in time there has been no formal move for the player yet one can expect that to change when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
