following a diagnosis of right heart congestive heart failure, i wanted a realistic idea of life expectancy,The condidtion is quite severe, beathlessness att rest, abdominal swelling, caused by liver congestion, dosnt smoke, rarely drinks,too ill, and not overweight, a 57 year old man.had replacement aortic heart valve following a staph aureous infection, with a pacemaker and patching to the heart.hve been told the left works great but right heart is very poor function,Also has developed grand mal epilepsy as a result of stroke during illness.he cannot walk more than a few paces without breathlessness.am going to talk turkey with his consultant, but would like an opinion.
