please get your car checked immediately the same thing happened to me on my 99 gs400 the low oil pressure light kept coming on and i was told that it could be that it was too much oil or not enough so i checked the oil and drained a little and it went off for a while until on saturday i was out of town on the car and it popped back on as i was headed home and i kinda ignored it and about 20 miles from my home the engine seized the timing belt broke so please get that checked asap

2002 lexus es 300, low oil pressure warning light came on last night followed by check engine. the steering wheel tightend up and i pulled over. turned the car off and then on again with no problem other than the low oil pressure light. heard tapping under the hood as i drove a few more miles home.

should i have it towed to a mechanic? i jusst had the oil changed last week. no oil leaks
