La Liga News- Cesc Fabregas’ dream is to play for Barcelona – Gerrard Pique’
We all know about the tensions that Arsenal is facing about their captain Cesc Fabregas, who wants to leave London for the Spanish giants, Barcelona. Cesc Fabregas has been reported time and time again that he wants to leave to Barcelona where he started his football career.
Cesc Fabregas used to be a part of Barcelona’s youth academy and used to train with his friends Gerrard Pique and Lionel Messi. The three of them have been good friends since they were little kids and on their way to becoming football stars which they are right now.
Barcelona is a famous club in Spain and probably one of the best clubs in the World at the moment; especially after their six trophies that they won in the 2009 season. Barcelona holds great assists when it comes to watching them play and when it comes to the amount of players they have. They have one of the best midfields in the World at the moment, with the best midfielder Xavi Hernandes and Andres Iniesta in the squad. They have Lionel Messi to add the cherry on the top along with Ibrahimovic, Pedro, Bojan and now David Villa in the forward line. They even have great defence which includes Puyol, Pique, Abidal, Dani Alves and even Maxwell. Cesc Fabregas, if introduced into this team, will make a deadly combo along with these players, as he already is helping his team, Spain, advance in the FIFA World Cup.
There has been much news about Cesc telling the Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, about his dream move to Barcelona. There were rumours about him talking to Arsene about his future and wanting to move out of the London club Arsenal and wanting to move to the Catalan Giants. Even his father told the press that “Arsenal should let my son go!” and that comment took this transfer to a new level.
On the other hand, Barcelona is trying to get its hands on the Arsenal play maker who is perfect for their club; as his combo with Xavi Hernandes, could be more than just deadly and is going to make their side even stronger; especially with their league rivals Real Madrid becoming strong with their new signings.
During the FIFA World Cup 2010, Cesc has been happy with his fellow Spanish players as he is with Barcelona stars and is apparently “living the dream!” of being there. He has been along 8 Barcelona stars which include Puyol, Pique, Valdes, Pedro, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta and David Villa.
During an interview with the Spanish centre back, Gerrard Pique’ has been reported to have said that Cesc Fabregas is dreaming to make a move to Barcelona and he knows that Cesc always wanted to come to Barcelona but now he is becoming impatient and he will seriously consider coming to us. He also added that his addition to the squad will seriously strengthen their side and will make them win trophies. Before the FIFA World Cup started, Puyol and Xavi were interviewed about this and they wanted Fabregas to join them in the near future. However, the Barcelona president is trying to get his hands on the Arsenal captain; Arsenal, is not very keen to sell their key playmaker for 30 million Pounds and they want a good price of at least 60 million, to be set for the Spaniard.
There are a lot of rumours about Cesc Fabregas and no one is just too sure whether he will come to the Catalan giants; but if he does, it is going to be a huge transfer and a huge shock for the Arsenal fans. Barcelona is already strong after their new signing David Villa and Fabregas is only going to make their team better and stronger.
