Can i rope jump after eating?

Can i rope jump after eating? My mother keeps telling me not to jump after eating but why not?

Well your mother is somewhat right, since you just finishing eating if you go jump around right away - you may get stomachache. The reason for this is due to food sitting in your stomach waiting to be digested. Once the food in your stomach is digested, you can jump all you want but until than, doing so may give you stomach problems.
