After seven laps of the Downtown Walterboro Criterium, the group of seven riders managed to get away in the race. All of them also gained a lap on the field. In the stage, United Health Care team showed an excellent performance and was also the best representative
of the elite break.
In last five laps of the race, Jake Keough was in good form and crossed the finish line ahead of the other riders.
Jake Keough was at the ninth spot in first part of the race and won the second stage as an overall leader. He also grabbed 12th position in the third part of the race.

In the last five laps of the race, Theresa Cliff-Ryan was joined by Laura Van Gilder of the Mellow Mushroom Team. Both of them worked together to hold off the chasing packs and took a lead over the RideClean-Patentit team. However, in the final three laps
of the race, Laura was left behind by Cliff-Ryan.
With the help of her Colavita team, Theresa Cliff crossed the finish line without any difficulty and won the race.
