If a company is incorporated in Australia, but its profits flow directly to a New Zealand company and the directors are also from the NZ company (that is they make all the decision in regards to the Aust. company), is this company considered to be an Australian resident?

  1. Yes .. they will pay Tax where they are incorporated .. (and where they do their main business)

NZ Tax authorities may dispute it, of course, since I'm sure THEY would like to get their hands on the Tax :-)
