  1. The top part of Australia is warmer than the bottom.

Sydney gets cold during those months. But sometimes it can be warmer. But at night its freezing. But when the weather keeps changing, then i get sick and i hate it.

  2. Anywhere north of the Tropic of Capricorn will be warm to hot during winter. (June/July/August)

  3. The north. Anywhere in Queensland north of about Rockhampton, Darwin in the Northern Territory and the northern bit of Western Australia around Broome all have winter maxima over 25C.  In fact winter is the best time to visit these areas because it is the dry season.

  4. Qld and anywhere on the top half of australia is going to have a pretty mild winter. But just keep in mind that northern parts of australia have a humid heat, which is very different than a dry heat (that the bottom half of australia experiences) especially if you are not used to living in it.

Unless you enjoy a humid climate, I would recommend sydney, or brisbane for a generally comfortable temperature all year round (if you are someone that likes warm weather that is....cooler climate people still complain these places are too hot in summer!). If you go further north than these cities,  the humidity increases and it can become more unbearable. But perhaps you like a humid climate in which case north qld is a beautiful place, warm all year round.

  5. queensland occassionally has the random hot winters day, i actually dislike it alot...kind of puts my body out of wack

  6. Anywhere northern Western Australia, Northern Teritory, Queensland, wheather is asually warm to hot temps around 30 - 55 degrees celcius depending on where you go

  7. If you look at a good map you will see a line that runs across  just above the centre of Australia from Rockhampton to western Australias pilbarra region. This is the line of the Tropic of Capricorn and all areas in Australia above that line are in The tropics. The tropics only has 2 seasons wet and dry the dry season is between April  and September so June July and August are absolutly perfect for being anywhere up North. Brisbane and the Gold Coast are semi tropical . It can get cold at night but usually nice sunny days around that time of year. Perth can get cold in winter but not freezing Sydney melbourne and Canberra can get bitterly cold. Not so much Sydney . June july and August are so perfect for Cairns The great barrier reef The WhitSundays Darwin Broome and all those wonderful places up North.

  8. WINTER WEATHER

    Melbourne - cool/cold

    Sydney - mild/cool

Queensland (Gold Coast Brisbane area) - warm/mild

    North Queensland - warm

Northern Territory - hot/bloody hot even winter is 30+

    Adelaide - cool

    Perth - mild/cool

    Tassie - cold

Take into consideration though that the coldest times of day is when your tucked up in bed asleep, most places are comfortable during the daytime.

  9. I think syndey

  10. Sydney is moderate, but does get cold days. Northern Queensland, Darwin and Perth hold the tempreture pretty well all years round.

  11. Darwin, Perth and the very tip of queensland are boiling hot all year round.

  12. Anywhere in Queensland will be like that, doesn't have any random hot winter days.

    to hgb 69:

55 degrees Celsius? I don't think it gets that hot. except in the desert.
