Is there a death benefits from Social security system philippines?

If i die, before reaching the age of 60, and i contributed 220 monthly contributions, does my immediate relatives get a death benefits??? I know i am entitled to a burial benefits. Just asking, im not dieing yet...

  1. Yes, aside from burial benefit which you can claim immediately, you are entitled to death benefit in favor of your family. Just have all the complete authenticated documents with you (birth certificates of children, marriage certificate, etc.) or your loved ones so that it can be claimed. The SSS will compute the amount based on your contributions according to their record.
