  1. Yes, its winter for the whole of Australia and its sunny where I am right now. However, its still pretty chilly. =]

  2. Winter doesn't officially start until the 1st of June.

At the moment it's still Autumn.

It's 9am Sunday morning, where I am, there is a clear blue sky and the temperature is 14 °C or 57.2 °F (which I consider chilly). This is fairly normal for this time of the year for my part of the country.

    It's a really lovely morning.

  3. Sunny in QLD today a little chilly in the morning and evening but a Victorian would still wear a T-Shirt

  4. well it isnt actually winter, but anyways its still sunny. its like sunny all the time. and it is the same for everywhere in aus. cept for the north which would be a bit warmer. its been like 2 degrees celcius in the mornings in victoria and like 17 or 18 degrees during the day. it all depends

  5. Its a lovely sunny day in Sydney at the moment, nights are cold as we are going from Autumn into Winter. Tropical Far North Queensland is the warm sunny area all year round. Here we get a lot of Sun but the weather is chilly.

  6. In the tropical north it will be a dry and sunny 27 degrees celsius today. And tomorrow. And the day after that.  The easiest job in the world is weather forecasting in Darwin.

  7. It is sunny in Australia all year unless we have a fog, threat of rain or a storm. I live in the coldest state (Tasmania) and while it is very very cold right now being winter, the sun is shining and in fact is quite warm.

  8. It's always sunny here in the north west of western Australia

  9. Do you mean Sunny or warm ?

Australia is larger than the USA without Alaska and as such has a big difference of temperatures across the continent so yes some places are Sunny & cold others Sunny & warm

  10. Its winter, but today in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, it was sunny and hot.

  11. Throughout Queensland, it will be sunny just about every day now until Oct/Nov when some rain can be expected. In Brisbane in the southeast of the state, it will be sunny and cool in June, July and August (max. low 20s) until September and very warm after that. As you go north from Brisbane, the winter days get warmer until by Cairns they will average in the mid to high 20s every day even in mid-winter.

  12. It's Winter in Australia right now.

Whether its sunny or not depends throughout the country. I live in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, NSW and it's been Sunny over the past month but with a few showers here and there. I'm guessing the colder places like Tasmania and the Blue Mountains are probably not so sunny. But that's just a guess :).

EDIT: Come to think of it, I think it's Autumn right now! lol Sorry, I lose track. :)
