  1. no

  2. No, it is not illegal. But people might be wondering why that person is wearing a vest. It's not like they are asking to be shot at...lol.

  3. NO, No, no. * However in reality there is no such thing as a bullet proof vest, they are only bullet resistant, and can be penetrated.*

  4. in most states you can..its the citys that you'll have problems and besides its hard to match your clothes with a bulletproof vest and shoes!!!! what kind of shoes go with it??? haha

    NRA member and gun owner

  5. not in most places, but mine states..do not puncture / stab with a sharp instrument...  i guess i am safe from bullets but not from knives...or icepicks..box cutter / razors...

  6. Not in Canada for sure and wherever you live I would be very surprise if it is!?!? What's wrong with wearing a 700$ sleeveless jacket?

  7. Why would you want to?   They are very uncomfortable and hot!

  8. They are legal to wear; but it's getting them that is the challenge, since sooo many manufacturers and distributors of vests are reluctant to sell them to non-law enforcement or military. It's part of the anti-gun culture that assumes that if you want to protect yourself from getting shot, that you "MUST" be a criminal, unless you are a cop or military. It's rediculous! There are several law enforcement supply stores near me that have signs that say "vests sold only to individuals who produce a valid military or law enforcement/security ID".

I guess the rest of us do not deserve to be protected from criminal's bullets!?

But yes, if you can get them, you can wear them legally, just don't be surprised if you get questioned by the police if they see one on you! good luck...

  9. I don't think so I thought those gangster rappers did it because there were scared of getting shot.

  10. not rlly i think for personal protetion..it'll just look odd

  11. Not at all.

    Bulletproof vest is PURELY defensive.

You can do whatever you want with it.

Its not a weapon at all.

  12. I assume you are referring to concealable body armor or do you mean something like a flack vest?

Either way it is not unlawful (check with NY< NJ< MA <CT) to wear, walk around with or display body armor. You will attract attention. Police get nervous when they(we) see something strange. Why not wear it under something to raise less suspecion or is the whole idea to attract attention or impress someone?

In this day and age of school and campus shootings there will most likely be a Police Officer with a rifle to defeat your armor if you give them any reason to.

It's not illegal, that I know of but not a good idea.

  13. It's not illegal in the UK. You may be inviting police attention, though, if you're not actively involved in security work.

  14. Well, unless you're getting shot at all the time its gonna get old real soon especially if you live anywhere where the climate is hot n humid!  Remember, these are worn under your outer wear. Other than looking kinda bulky, how is anyone gonna know you're wearing one???

Unless you are committing a felony then it is not per se illegal.  It is uncomfortable and the fashion police may come after you.  LOL!

  15. No, it's not illegal to buy or wear a bulletproof vest at any time.

  16. Not in my state

  17. In Texas it is legal unless...

    You are a felon

    or

    you are committing a crime

As for wearing one on the gulf coast

    Too d**n Hot

Now when I go on a ride along with LE I wear mine but I do have to leave my CC behind.

Now in the future, if the election goes south and all he11 breaks loose, yes I will wear mine when I am heading into a rough part of town.

If you can legally wear it, cover it.

You don't want to tell the criminal, "Don't shoot my chest, shoot my head"

  18. I would not think so.
