Is it Canadian law for an employer to issue pay stubs with pay checks ?

a pay stub indicating how much has been withheld for tax and ei and what not.

Many companies in the US are moving toward having this info available to employees on line and NOT with a physical paycheck.

I don't know Canadian Labor law, but it may be that it was such a common and sensible practice that there are no laws about this.
