In Egypt do I need to change my marriage name to my maiden name before I married again or it does not matter??

I got my divorce and decide to keep my marriage name (cause of bills etc). I am going to get married in Egypt. In Egypt do I need to change my marriage name back to my maiden name before I married again or it does not matter??

i Mary my wife sciences 2 years she is American and i am Egyptian

OK her is what you and your man have to do

first you Nam doesn't matter if you have it in your passport so its yours and legal  and my wife didn't change her Nam

but as its Essy to Mary with your Nam now its hard after that to change it so if you can change it in your passport do it if you cant its OK and all fine

you will Mary in the ministry of gusts her in Cairo

you will need a permission from your embassy her in Egypt

that's telling that you can Mary for my wife in the USA embassy is just take 10mints

and then you need to go to tahreree mOGAMAA to get a tamp in your passport

you need 8 personal photos for you

and that's it

all of that will cost you about 200 ep that's less than 40$

that's all

ask again if you need any Moor info about getting Mary in Egypt

It's entirely up to you. All Egyptian law requires is proof of identity i.e. birth certificate and legal proof such as divorce papers, that you are no longer married to this person or anyone else.

It is also up to you and your husband whether you decide to take his family name as your surname, keep it the way it is or revert to your maiden name.
