I'm doing a Seven Deadly Sins based project for my A-Level photography and for the sin "Pride" i want to use the very vanity focused 18th century.

I really need a 18th century court gown like this....

but i need it in purple to fit my colour scheme.

I am pretty desperate to get one of these dresses but im a student and i have NO MONEY lol

Does anyone know where i can get or rent out one of these dresses in England for quite a cheap price?

i think you could try vaious fancy dreess shops or try tottenham court market london, or covent garden or just old vintage places.

Try renting one from a local theatre.. That shouldn't cost too much, or even let them know what it's about and see if they[ll let you do the photo there at even less cost.

They may not have it in purple, but if you have a digital camera, you can colorize it with photoshop or something similar.

If it comes down to it  you could make one too.

dang? that?????!?!!! for a cheap price? i dont think so! the only way u would get that cheap is making it! which would also be expensive because u would have to buy all the special fabrics and everything.
