ICC World Cup 2011 Warm-ups: England set Pakistan 274 to win
England reached 273 against Pakistan in the final warm-up match of the ICC World Cup 2011 at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747.

Pakistan had batted first after winning the toss against in their first warm-up match against Bangladesh and wanted to chase this time around in order to test their batting strength.
The start to the English innings was yet again below par as their captain Andrew Strauss failed to make an impression for the second time in a row. He was out early after scoring just 5 runs.
In-form Jonathan Trott was also not able to score much runs as he was cleaned up by youngster Junaid Khan for just 9. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 were struggling at that stage with their 2 wickets down for only 37 on the board.
However, Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell constructed an 80-run partnership for the 3rd wicket to pull their team out of trouble. Pietersen played well and scored 66 runs from 78 balls before being dismissed.
Bell was not able to carry onto the start he got and was out after scoring 39 runs off 58 balls. The Poms were once again in a spot of bother when they lost 4 wickets for 134 runs in 30.1 overs.
However, Paul Collingwood returned to form just at the right time for his team and constructed a solid partnership with Ravi Bopara for the 5th wicket. The pair amassed an 82-run stand before Bopara was dismissed after he had scored 35 useful
runs.
Collingwood took advantage of the start he got and scored a promising 65 runs off 73 balls before getting out. Wicketkeeper batsman Matt Prior also played a good innings of 24 from 15 balls to help take his team total to 273.
Pakistan youngster Junaid Khan was promising in his first appearance against a top team. He took 3 wickets in his 8 over spell. He received good support from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Wahab-Riaz-c95839 who also grabbed 3 wickets.
