I just switched my e-mail to a gmail account. I have verified the new e-mail address. I can send messages and they arrive at the group. I can recieve messages from the group. However, I am not recieving messages from myself. They are not in my spam folder on gmail. I am not getting a soft bounce on Yahoo Groups. I am the owner of the yahoo group.

  1. Gmail does not send messages to your inbox that you have sent to yourself.  They assume that since you sent the message, you already know what the message consisted of.  Look in the gmail help files to see how to change this so you will receive your own messages.  It is possible.

  2. I don't use Gmail often, however it is said for whatever reason, you never get your own posts- others are also just like this. there might be some setting within Gmail to click so you can get them, you'll have to check those settings. just remember to set it to save your sent e-mails.
