  1. I have had this problem it can be that you do not have the amp wired up right and/or your amp just is not pushing it. Also if you are pushing two subs that both have 600 rms each then you need a bigger amp to get them to sound good and get efficient bass out of them with out any distortion when you have it turned up loud. And i would invest in a compasitor,  and set your equalizer to how you like it.

  2. Twitch96lude, is a moron. There is absolutely no need for a capacitor at all in your setup. This amp is efficent enough to handle your subs. Are your subs dual 4 ohm or 2 ohm? If they are dual 4 ohm then wire them down to 1 ohm, that will let the amp stretch its legs so to speak, and it will then start giving you 1500 watts. I have this same amp on my Elemental Designs 13Ov.2 dual 4 ohm subs, I have them wired down to 1 ohm. I can hear the rear veiw mirror vibrating on the windshield when it is turned up and I am standing outside of the car.
