  1. You're a big girl now.  You can do what ever you want with or without your parents permission.

However, you did it and now you are concerned about telling your parents about the dreaded tatoo, the defacing of your body, the intentional graffitti of a once pure organ that will no doubt sag, fade and misshapen as you get older?  Now why would you be concerned and why would they disapprove?

Why bother being concerned, as you stated above. "I just got my FIRST tattoo", looks like it won't be your last.

Good Luck... make your parents proud.... Mom.

  2. You can't hide it forever, and there's no need to.  You're an adult, and you have every right to get a tattoo.

So what if your parents don't approve - it's not like they can ground you anymore!  And it's not like you committed murder or some heinous crime - they may not like it, but they will get over it.

Just up and tell them - "Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you that  will upset and disappoint you, but I am an adult and I stand by my decision.  I got a tattoo.  My reasons for doing so, and for selecting this design, are..."

  3. you don't have to tell them if you're scared. you're a grown woman who no longer needs her parents approval. If its something you wanted (which obviously it is if you went out and got it) and you thought hard about, then its fine! if they ask about it just be like "isn't it cute!"

if they try to scold you, its fine.

its not like they're going to ground you, right!

what kind of tat did you get!?

  4. just hide it. then, thier will be no problem between you guys. - unless they find out. it depends on how good you are of hiding things.

  5. well your adult and do what ever you want. don't hide it from them. when ever they see it with out you saying any thing then talk about it.

  6. Just tell them...You're a big girl now and being a mother im sure you would like your child to tell you if they got a tattoo (when they are older of course lol)...Im a 25 yr old mother and i would expect the same from my son when he is older. I also have tattoos. The first 1 i got, my mum was there with me only because i was 15 and need a parent there...but now i have a few more...she is a bit disappointed that i have so many but its my body and my choice. She has accepted the fact that i love tattoos and will get more. If your parents dont approve then just remind them that you are in fact an adult and can make your own chioces in life....and im sure that every parent in the world did some thing their parents didnt approve of too.

  7. tell them or i be in bigger trouble
